Hello! I’m Olivia, the founder and creator at Hay Girl Arts. I come from a family of artists and educators, and grew up in Jefferson, Maine on my parents’ horse farm. I attended Lincoln Academy, graduating in 2018, and then matriculated to the University of Southern Maine where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education in May of 2022, with a double concentration in Painting/Drawing and Ceramics. I am currently working as a K-8th art teacher in Maine while also pursuing my masters in art at Maine College of Art & Design.

I am drawn to nature and animals as a subject because I truly connect with it. Growing up in the midcoast area, I was always outdoors. I enjoy attempting to capture the magic I feel when I am around the flora and fauna of the place I call home. Thank you so very much for stopping in to take a look.
