Our Story

Welcome to Hay Girl Arts: a little corner of Maine creativity where paint, yarn, fabric, and ink all come together to celebrate the wild beauty of this place I call home.

What started as a simple love for Maine’s landscapes and the animals that wander through them has grown into a joyful, ever-evolving arts and crafting business. I began by painting the scenery around me- the rocky coastline, the roaming farm animals, and the distinguished seabirds that make this state feel so alive. Over time, my art expanded into pottery, block-printed clothing, and a collection of handmade ornaments and cozy crochet hats.

Every piece, whether it’s painted, stitched, felted, or thrown, is made by hand with care. I love working across different mediums- it lets me capture Maine’s spirit in all the ways it shows up: rugged, whimsical, colorful, and full of character.

You can find Hay Girl Arts online through my shop and Etsy store, as well as at local markets where I get to meet the wonderful people who support handmade work. My hope is that each creation brings a little bit of Maine’s magic into your home; something warm, thoughtful, and crafted to last.
